About Me 🎧

I have been involved with sound since high school. I went to a performing arts high school where I majored in Music Production. I studied music theory beginning at 6 and continued until I graduated high school. Most of my experience before coming to UNC School of the Arts was in music. Since coming to UNC School of the Arts I have been able to expand my experiences and capabilities when it comes to sound. I have worked in all new spaces and learned to utilize and strengthen the skills I started developing in high school. I’ve been opened up to the world of various theatrical performances and films.

HIGHLIGHTED WORKS ⭐️

Here is the work I’m most proud of!

I was given the project of taking a poem, analyzing it, and turning it into a sound story and podcast. I chose a poem written by a gay man about his experiences as a queer man during the 1970s. He tries to bring humanity and life to the queer people of the time.

We were all given the assignment of making a theme park with our own theme and we had to create the following “lands”. Animal Land, Dream Land, Futurism Land, Old West Land, and Americana Land. The theme I chose was Cinema and this is my Americana Land. I took design inspiration from The Wolf of Wall Street and Uncut Gems.

Everyone in class was given a silent version of this video. We then picked different adjectives to use that inspired our style of design. Mine were ritualistic and hypnotic.
